The bathroom sink is usually made of porcelain or ceramic. Unlike stainless steel, these two materials do not have the durability and can easily be chipped or cracked. Once it happens, it is quite disturbing to deal with. Fortunately, some tricks and supplies to repair it now are available quite widely.
Bathroom Sink Fixing by Filling the Crack
First of all, we need to rinse the bathroom sink with warm water in order to lose the pieces of ceramic that might still be in the crack. After that, we can go on by filling the crack. We can use the epoxy adhesive to do this step. Use the paintbrush in order to apply them and the layers and use toothpicks to remove any excess epoxy.
Repainting the Bathroom Sink
In order to make it look new, we can start to repaint the sink with the matching color as the rest of the sink. We can use paint applicator or clean paintbrush to do this bathroom sink repair. It takes at least 24 hours to wait until the paint is dry before we can use the sink again.
We can easily repair the sink by our own if we know the proper steps. We only need to fill the crack and then paint it back to make it look new. No one will know that we just fix the bathroom sink.
