It is not an easy task to simply move the furniture around without any floor plans at all. The easiest way to arrange the house is by making the plans of how we are going to put the furniture in the house. By taking appropriate measurement and then drawing the right scale, we can imagine directly where to put something, and then start designing the luxury floor plans.

Floor Plans Instructions: How to Measure the Room

First of all, we need to draw the floor plans of the house on the scrap paper. We do not need to draw the house in the correct measurement; the rough sketch is acceptable. However it still should at least match the approximate shape of the rooms. Next, we need to start measure the entire rooms in the house by using the measuring tape. Note the measurement on the graphic paper properly.

Start Drawing the Floor Plans

Decide the scale of the floor plans first, and then we can start drawing the windows and the doors. The additional line not intersecting the wall is the window. The door can be drawn by erasing the line where the door is first, and then draw the intersecting lines to the wall as the door. After it is done, we can start drawing the furniture location by using the floor plans.
